My yoga style

SLOW FLOW VINYASA Vinyasa Flow artfully connects postures with breath to create a graceful, flowing and rhythmic practice. To get you out of your daily routine and into the present moment I like to start classes by guiding you through some gentle pranayama and meditation. Dynamic and energizing sequences are followed by conscious and grounding asanas always keeping the right balance between flexibility and strength, freedom and stability, flow and static, yin and yang. I love to weave storytelling, a focus on breathing and proper alignment into my yoga teachings.

YIN YOGA Yin Yoga is a beautiful practice of surrender that stretches the connective tissue (fascia) in the body by passively holding postures for longer times with gentle pressure. Classes often start quite gentle with breath guided movements, followed by hip, shoulder and heart opening postures that work intensely on an emotional and energetic level.

HOW I FOUND MY STYLE I started with Bikram Yoga, the hot yoga, and loved being 100% focused and concentrated on myself and my physical body. Practising yoga in different ashrams in India introduced me to the tradtition of yoga, its philosophy. I was fascinated to learn about the spiritual part of yoga. Participating in silent meditation retreats and countless kirtans showed me the immense power of meditation and devotion. Through Tantra and Kundalini yoga I got in touch with energy, my chakras and the huge potential that lies within us and, finally, innumberable Jivamukti Yoga classes, a perfect blend of mantra chanting, pranayama, challenging dynamic vinyasa and yoga philosophy helped me to find my personal style of yoga.

Yoga is the perfect opportunity
to be curious about who you are.
